Of Counsel

Brad Kaplan’s practice focuses largely on providing tax advice for business and individuals, trusts and estates work, and general corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, tax and business representation of closely held businesses, their owners and families. In his capacity as transactional counsel to his clients, Brad has structured and negotiated purchase and sale transactions ranging from the acquisition of a minority interest in a closely-held limited liability company to the divestiture of nine subsidiaries of a Fortune 500 conglomerate.

In addition to serving as an advisor to his corporate clients, Brad works with his individual clients to create and implement estate plans that clearly delineate the manner in which his clients desire to transfer their assets upon their passing and minimize the various tax obligations associated with the transfer of wealth. Brad also represents wealth advisors and institutional trust companies in connection with the administration of trusts and private foundations.
